Alta Sue Howard

Alta Sue Howard, age 63, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died Monday, April 21, 2014. She was born on August 16, 1950, at Hot Springs, the daughter of Allen Cline Howard and Mary Martha Warford Howard. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Gary Allen French; her mother, Mary Howard; her sister, Brenda Howard; and her grandparents. She was Baptist in her faith and was employed with Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for over twenty years. She was a fun, loving and free spirited person who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. After a long hard battle with illness, her family is at peace knowing Alta is now in heaven with her baby boy, Gary Allen, who she lost 37 years ago, as well as her mother, sister and grandparents. Her battle is finally over and her family can now rejoice that she is no longer in pain and is free with the angels in heaven. Alta is survived by her father, Allen Howard of Grand Prairie, Texas, formerly of Norman; her brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Neva Howard of Euless, Texas; her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Randy Nonnamacher of Grand Prairie, Texas; several nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 26, 2014, in the Black Springs Cemetery with Bro. Don Warford officiating.
