Obituary

Buddie Knighten, age 89, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

He was born on September 7, 1928 in Allen, Oklahoma, the son of Charlie James Knighten and Roxie Annabell McCormick Knighten. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Dimple Knighten; his parents; four brothers; and one sister.

Buddie retired from Weyerhaeuser.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Terry Keener of Hot Springs; his son, Darrell Knighten of Benton; two grandchildren, Jackson and Cherish Keener and Katrina and Chris LeCompt, all of Hot Springs; one sister, Wanda Mae Rinehart of Allen, Oklahoma; one brother, Cleo Knighten of Washburn, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Bud Wilburn officiating.

Interment will be in Woodall Valley Cemetery, Kirby.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday evening.
