Carol Ann Freeland

Carol Ann Freeland, age 78, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born on July 17, 1941, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Bennie Prewitt and Ruthie Carroll Prewitt. On July 17, 1959, she married Thomas "T.J." Freeland, who preceded her in death on September 3, 1995. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Ann Garibay; one grandson, Donald Wallace; and her parents. Carol was a homemaker. She was Catholic in faith and was baptized on August 10, 1941. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David Bird of Hot Springs; one son, Michael Freeland of Humble, Texas; and one grandson, David Bird of Hot Springs. The family would like to thank the Hot Springs Police Department, Sgt. Lee Ann Zaner and the personnel of LifeNet. Services will be private.
