Curtis Rudolph "Rudy" Tigue

Curtis Rudolph "Rudy" Tigue, age 68, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was born on March 31, 1949, in Amity, the son of Curtis Dune Tigue and Ludie Mae Henthorn Tigue. On November 4, 1993, he was married to Judy M. Eggers Tigue who preceded him in death on November 28, 2017. He was also preceded in death by his son, Terry Tigue; his parents; one brother, Thomas Tigue; and one sister, Nancy Wootten. He was a Christian in his faith and for many years worked as a forklift driver and had many other jobs at the sawmill. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He enjoyed playing pool and Yahtzee, but above all, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Dale Tigue of Hot Springs, Stephen Tigue and his wife, Natalie Henson, of Kirby and Thomas Tigue of Grady; three daughters and one son-in-law, Sandra Ball of Alpine, Donna Mitchell of Hot Springs and Robertha Thorne and her husband, Robert, of Bald Knob; one stepson, Jay Devoto and his wife, Megan, of Festus, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Jodie Hawkins and her husband, Mike, of House Springs, Missouri and Laura Wheaton and her husband, Dennis, of Mason, Ohio; his granddaughter, who he raised as his own daughter, Shawna Romero and her husband, Roberto, of South Carolina; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Henry and Brenda Tigue of Hot Springs, Paul Tigue of Amity, Joe and Brenda Tigue of Kirby, William Tigue of Murfreesboro, David Tigue of Amity and Ted and Wanda Tigue of Alpine; one sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Johnny Pruitt of Murfreesboro; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 17, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood. Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
