David Thomas
David Harold Thomas, 76, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017. He was born January 15, 1940 to the late E.D. (Monk) and Helen Burks Thomas. He was a member of Bingham Road Baptist Church and retired from Jacuzzi Brothers after 39 ½ years of service.
David is survived by his loving wife of almost 54 years, Ojuana; his two daughters, Shannon Williams (David) and Kristi McGathy; three grandsons, Garrett Williams, Grant Williams and Gunner McGathy, all of Little Rock; sister, Linda Reed (Dewayne); brother, Ricky Thomas (Jamie); nephew, Dwayne Tucker (Blanca) and their children, Samantha and Christopher; and a host of other relatives and friends.
David was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 5 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, January 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Ivy Chapel Christian Church, officiated by Pastor Roger Brown. Interment will follow at the Ivy Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice and Bingham Road Baptist Church.
