Doris Virginia Quinones

Doris Virginia Quinones, age 71, of Alpine, died Saturday, April 30, 2011. She was born on June 19, 1939 at Rosboro, the daughter of Charlie Warner Spears and Maggie Florene Craig Spears. On November 4, 1956, she was married to Joe Quinones. She is survived by her husband, Joe Quinones of Alpine; three children, Becky Chavis of Little Rock, Carmen McCormick and her husband, Michael, of Bluffton, Indiana and Sylvia Howell of Little Rock; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Spears of Alpine, Ricky Spears of Rosboro and Bobby Spears of Caddo Gap; three sisters, Judy Miller of Norman, Shirley Davis and Elaine Wilder both of Rosboro; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Emory Crossland officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Interment will be in the Coker Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tracy Spears, Charles Spears, Jr., Dean Miller, Dwayne Spears, Roger Keith Moore, Dusty Wilder, Mackie Davis and Glen Wilder, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Davis, Daniel Wilder, Lonnie Miller, Steve Miller and Ricky Spears, Jr. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
