Dr. Clinton Norwood was born on August 11, 1928, in Lono, Arkansas, to Virgil Norwood and Euna Bryan Norwood. He was the third of seven children.
He was enlisted in the Navy during World War II and the Air Force during the Korean War.
Clint graduated in 1965, from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in Glendale, California. He was a chiropractic physician for 50 years in California and Arkansas and loved helping people feel better.
He was also an avid golfer for about 55 years and was quite good at it!
Clint passed away on January 4, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Annette; sons, Clint Norwood (Kristi), Bryan Norwood and daughter, Vicki Boune (William); grandchildren, Bryan Norwood, Jr., Paige Norwood, Clinton Jeffery “C.J.” Norwood, Sylvia-Marah Boune, Kim and Andea Wright; and brother, Wendell Norwood. He was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Jarchow, Doris O’Neal, Mary Hall, Nancy Sherwin and brother, Virgil Norwood.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Military honors provided by the U.S. Navy and the Thaddeus H. Caraway, V.F.W. Post #2278 Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday evening.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
