Gerrie Crow Barentine

Gerrie Crow Barentine, age 81, of Kirby, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1936, in Dunlap Crossing, Arkansas, the daughter of Desmond Hubert Crow and Bessie Tarpley Crow. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Herschel Crow, Raymond Crow, Haskell Crow, Elbert Lee Crow and Herman Crow; two sisters, Cathy Jones and Rose Subin; her daughter, Robin Britton; her grandson, Terry Britton; and the father of her children, Wallace Barentine. She had a great love for God, her family and her friends. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Annie and Boonie Barrett; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Vicki Barentine, all of Kirby; her grandchildren and their spouses, Josh and Tonya Barrett, Melissa and Erik Breazeale and Amber Barentine, all of Kirby, and Jake and Cody Barrett of Bella Vista; her great-grandchildren, Brian Barrett, Jonathan Breazeale, Riley and Luke Barrett; her brother, Emal Crow of Kirby; her adopted sister and special friend, Louise Tolleson of Kirby; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 17, 2018, in the Ebenezer Cemetery with Bro. Bill Cowles officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
