JD Mack, age 75, of Rosboro, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. He was born on May 25, 1942 at Kirby, the son of Arlie Jefferson Mack and Ethel Mae Sweeden Mack. On January 15, 1965, he married Linda Sue LaFevers. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Timothy "Timbo" Mack; his brother, Clarence Mack; and his sister, Helen Simmons. JD was Church of Christ in his faith. He worked as a layout carpenter in Houston, Texas building skyscrapers and was a member of the Carpenters Union. He was an avid hunter and Arkansas Razorback fan. He adored his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Linda Mack; two sons and their spouses, David and Becky Mack and Matt and Edna Mack; four grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Alex and Andrew, all of Rosboro; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marie Cates and Nadine and Terry Herald, all of North Little Rock and Linda and Gary Coffman of Kirby; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2018, in the Grace Baptist Church with Dewayne Mack officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Coker Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Matt Mack, David Mack, Alex Mack, Andrew Mack, Josh Mack, Justin Mack, Willard Turner, Shawn LaFevers and Timmy Joe Mack. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
