Larry Dean Standerfer

Larry Dean Standerfer, age 60, of Mount Ida, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was born on August 15, 1958 in Hot Springs, the son of Dick Standerfer and Maxine Austin Standerfer. He was preceded in death by his parents. On October 15, 1997, he was married to Tanya Smith. He was employed for over 20 years with the Hot Springs Village Road Department. He was a member of the Union Hill Jesus Name Church. He enjoyed hunting, especially bow hunting, fishing and loved being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Tanya Standerfer of Mount Ida; three children, Zackary Standerfer of Mount Ida, Kristy Campbell and her husband, Wes, of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Steven Davis and his wife, Tori, of Mena; six grandchildren, Abigail Davis, Addison Campbell, Paislee Davis, Tucker Davis, Kaydee Davis and Luke Davis; his brother, Rusty Standerfer of Mount Ida; two sisters, Daphna Jones of Mount Ida and Vonda Brown of Mena; and two nieces. Graveside services will be held a 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in the Reed Cemetery at Story with Bro. James Cogburn officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
