Larry Keith Thomason

Larry Keith Thomason, age 59, of Amity, passed away, Wednesday, June 11, 2014. He was born on May 2, 1955 at Monticello, the son of Dayton Thomason and Wanda Sligh Thomason. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen and Amy Thomason and Walter and Clara Sligh. He was a 1973 graduate of Sheridan High School and Methodist in his faith. Always having a competitive spirit, as a youth, he achieved the rank of Life Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop #60, in Sheridan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid reader. Larry loved his family and adored his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Melissa Thomason of Laredo, Texas; three grandchildren, Kayden, Derrick and James Thomason, all of Laredo, Texas; his parents, Dayton and Wanda Thomason of Amity; his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Larky Reeves of Arkadelphia; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Pam Thomason of Arkadelphia, Danny and Carol Thomason of Pleasant Plains and Jeff and Rhonda Thomason of Benton; six nephews, Justin Thomason, John Michael Thomason, Jacob Thomason, Josh Reeves, Daniel Reeves and Ryan Reeves; and his niece, Amanda Rogers. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 15, 2014, in the Jones Cemetery with Bro. John McAnally officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
