Lorraine Andrea Walton, age, 86, of Hot Springs, died Monday, July 8, 2019.
She was born on October 27, 1932, in Hampton, New Hampshire, the daughter of Robert Minor Ford, Sr. and Enid Iola Wyman Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, R.M. Ford, Jr. and Kent Ford.
Lorraine was a dedicated mother and grandmother and her love for her family was unsurpassed. She retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital where she was a nurse for many years.
Lorraine was a long-time member of the Hot Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church. After her retirement, she enjoyed serving lunches to all of the students at the church school.
She is survived by three children, Denise (Tom) Patton, Melissa (David) Rynders and Jon (Katrina McFarland) Walton; eight grandchildren, Brent Rynders, Brian Rynders, Kyle Patton, Kaitlin Patton, Matthew Vesely, Kristopher Vesely, Ewan McFarland-Walton and Aiden McFarland-Walton; three great-grandchildren, Lynnlee Rynders, Erik Vesely and Lorelai Fleuren; two sisters, Nyleen Rhodus and Joyce Wever; numerous nieces, nephews and traveling niece, Bunnie Ford; and long-time best friend, Shana Coffman.
A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
