Lowell Moore

Lowell Moore, age 75, of Glenwood, died Friday, December 9, 2011. He was born on July 11, 1936, at Keota, Oklahoma, the son of William Forrest Moore and Jewel Scoggins Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers. He was a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a former youth pastor. He attended Hilltop Full Gospel Church, and served as Sunday school superintendent and music leader. He is survived by his wife, Rita Moore of Glenwood; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jerry and Vicky Wilson and Steve and Rose Wilson, all of Arkadelphia; Keith Moore of Carson City, Nevada; one daughter, Kristin Brodie of Carson City, Nevada; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Melba Thomason of Phoenix, Arizona; and Tom Phillips of Bridgeport, Texas, one he considered as his son. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2011, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Bob Wiyott and Bro. Jerry Fagan officiating. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Jerry Wilson, Jr., Tye Wilson, Cory Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Keith Counts and Kenny Pinkerton. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy York, Steven Phillips and T. J. Phillips.
