Lyndell Smith

Lyndell Smith, age 58, of Bonnerdale, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. He was born on December 5, 1955 at Hot Springs, the son of John Herman Smith and Ina Mildred Phillips Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jerry Lynn Smith; and his sister, Marsha Jane Smith. He attended Bismarck Pentecostal Church and enjoyed hunting, gardening, four wheeling and exploring new places. Blessed with a heart of gold, he loved his family and taking care of animals. He is survived by his son, John Weston Lane Smith of Glenwood; his daughter, Kelley Wolf of Lonoke; two step-daughters, Jordyn Wright of Bonnerdale and Courtney West of Hot Springs; his grandson, Kelyn Davis Fagan of Lonoke; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Norma Smith of Hot Springs, Eddie and Debby Smith of Glenwood, Stephen and Jill Smith of Glenwood and Karl Stanley and Wendy Smith of Bonnerdale; his sister and brother-in law, Rhonda and Charles Montgomery of Pearcy; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 19, 2014, in the Mount Tabor Community Church with Bro. J. B. Evans and Bro. Van Glidewell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Jerry Donald Smith, Jonathan Trent Smith, Adam Wesley Smith, Landon Taylor Smith, Devin Riley Smith, "Lil" Jerri Smith and Kelyn Davis Fagan. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Cantrell, Steve Spakes and Dewight Mack. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
