Manuel Julio Palavicini, age 74, of New Orleans, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016, with his family beside him.
He was born on February 13, 1942 in Peru, the son of Manuel Julio Palavicini and Maria Julia Andia Palavicini. He was the youngest of 13 children and the only boy with 12 sisters.
He was a captain of the restaurant who worked at many of the finer restaurant facilities in New Orleans including Tommy's Cuisine. He always enjoyed being with his family.
He is survived by his three children, Kim Kelly Perez of New Orleans, Scott Palavicini of Amity and Tony Palavicini of New Orleans; seven grandchildren, Brock Kelly, Michelle Perez, Sean Palavicini, Tobey Palavicini, Nicholas Palavicini, Cruz Perez and Tyler Palavicini; his great-granddaughter, Maya Palavicini; and the mother of his children, Brenda Palavicini of Hot Springs.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
