Mike Nelson

Mike Nelson, age 68, of Norman, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. He was born on April 6, 1950 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the son of E. A. "Doc" Ingle and Naomi Keith Ingle. On March 20, 1970, he was married to Uealene Darter. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, John Nelson and Duane Nelson. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle and had published the church bulletin for almost twenty years. Mike loved his family and he loved his church. He is survived by his wife, Uealene Nelson of Norman; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Bree Nelson of Hot Springs, Willie and Daphne Nelson of Glenwood and Matthew and Ginger Nelson of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren, Samantha Nelson, Luke Nelson, Tabitha Nelson, Brooklynn Nelson and Ashley Nelson; his great-granddaughter, Isabella Nelson; two brothers, David Ingle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mark Ingle of Luther, Oklahoma; and his sister, Kathy Nelson of Wichita, Kansas. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 29, 2018, in the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle with Bro. Dennis Anderson officiating. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
