Patricia Gayle Tankersley

January 24, 1946 — July 4, 2016

Patricia Gayle Tankersley, age 70, of Pearcy, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 4, 2016.

She was born on January 24, 1946 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Elmer Diggs and Glenna Bettis Diggs. On September 19, 1967, she was married to Roy Dean Tankersley. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patricia was a homemaker and worked for many years at the Club Caf in Hot Springs. She was a member of the Last Creek Hunting Club where she served as secretary and she enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Dean Tankersley; her daughter and son-in-law, Deana Gayle and Loren Walker, all of Pearcy; three grandchildren, Michael Dean and Laura Walker and Melisa Gayle Walker, all of Pearcy and Cameron Wyatt of Hot Springs; two great-grandchildren, Bo Dean Walker and Abby Jo Walker, both of Pearcy; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dale and Brenda Diggs and Bruce Diggs, all of Hot Springs and Lewis and Virginia Diggs of Bonnerdale; one sister, Lucille Standridge of Bonnerdale; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Teddy Hill officiating.

Interment will be in the Oma Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday evening.

Pallbearers will be Mike Denham, Carl Rowe, Robert Waite, Todd Bono, Bradley Diggs and George Walker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Virginia Bonnette, the staff of National Park Medical Center Med. II, the staff of Dixon Construction and the members of the Last Creek Hunting Club.
