Pauline Pennington, age 90, of Hot Springs, died Monday, March 19, 2018.
She was born on September 12, 1927 in New Mexico, the daughter of Orbie William Vaughn and Oda Jester Vaughn. On June 6, 1945, she married C.L. Carnish Pennington who preceded her in death on March 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clyde Vaughn and Dewitt Vaughn; and three sisters, Myrtle Grant, Martha Brown and Linda Senn.
Pauline attended Malvern First Assembly of God and was a homemaker. She worked for many years alongside her husband in most of his professional ventures. She also worked for Curtis Mathes Television in Benton and National Rejectors in Hot Springs. Pauline always made sure that her children and family came first.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Vic and Reba Pennington; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dale Clem, all of Hot Springs; three grandchildren; Shannon Pennington, Chase and Jenni Clem, Cory Clem (Nikki Skrivanos); two great-grandchildren, Josh Brown and Jake Brown; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Mount Tabor Community Church, Glenwood, with Rev. Jimmy Bobo officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday evening, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Pennington, Chase Clem, Cory Clem, Troy Senn, Josh Brown and Jake Brown.
