Robert Spears

Robert "Bobby" Spears, age 71, of Amity, died Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was born on March 15, 1941, at Amity, the son of Joseph Henry Spears and Carrie Dafford Spears. On April 15, 1976, he was married to Helen Tigue. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, James Spears. He is survived by his wife, Helen Spears of Amity; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffory and Heather Spears of Amity; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Patricia Spears, Jack and Donna Spears and Gary and Debbie Spears, all of Amity; one sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Terry Simmons of Amity; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, July 30, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood. The family will hold a graveside memorial service at a later date.
