Ruby Faye Lockeby Stark

Ruby Faye Lockeby Stark, age 97, of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at the Murfreesboro Nursing Center. She was born on April 10, 1914, in DeQueen, the daughter of Levi Williamson and Fannie Daniel Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Christopher "Chubby" Lockeby; one son, Dennis Larry Lockeby; her husband, Frank Stark; two brothers and sister-in-law, Loyd and Nora Deane Williamson and Floyd Williamson; two sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth and Joe Sharp and Ada Williamson; two stepdaughters, Reba Bateman and Patricia McCauly; one step-grandson, Henry Humphry; one step-granddaughter, Darla Hinds; and one infant granddaughter. She was a devoted wife, mother and a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Lockeby of Arlington, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, LaVaughn and James White of Dierks; one sister-in-law, Deane Williamson of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; two stepdaughters, Betty Hinds of Merritt Island, Florida and Kattie Humphry of Delight; one stepson, Frank Stark, Jr. of Atlanta, Texas; and twelve step-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 26, 2011, in the Murfreesboro Church of Christ with Bro. Tommy Mounts officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, prior to the service. Interment will be in the Murfreesboro Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Brian White, Karl White, Zack White, Winston Humphry, Frank Stark, Jr. and Jerry Ray Mounts. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
