Shirleen Adcock Tabor

Shirleen Adcock Tabor, age 79, of Hot Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 3, 2017. She was born on August 27, 1937, in Mountain Pine, the daughter of Raymond Edward Rose and Vida Eva Tucker Rose. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dean Adcock; her second husband, Burl Tabor; and her parents. Shirleen was a member of Lake Hamilton Assembly of God. She graduated from Mountain Pine High School and was the owner of Taylors Cleaners. She enjoyed gardening and spending time working in her yard. Shirleen loved the Lord and her children very much. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Dee Dee Adcock of Hot Springs and Ken and Terri Adcock of Glenwood; four grandchildren, Meredith Adcock, Ryan Adcock, Shane Adcock and Devon Bradley; seven great-grandchildren, Checotah Adcock, Anevey Adcock, Anna Adcock, Addye Adcock, Amelia Adcock, Maxwell Adcock and Jillian "Jitterbug" Rhymes; one step-son, Marvin Tabor of Gillette, Wyoming; one sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Doyle Chancellor of Hot Springs; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 7, 2017, in the Lake Hamilton Assembly of God with Rev. Travis George officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Ryan Adcock, Shane Adcock, Darren Adcock, Mike Mitchell, Forrest Marks and Steve Hanson. Honorary pallbearers will be Curt and Wilma Beard, Judy Dennis, Ruby Kassaw, Brenda Mitchell, the doctors and nurses of DaVita Dialysis Center, the staff of Arkansas Hospice and the members of Lake Hamilton Assembly of God.
