Sue Ellen Jester

Sue Ellen Jester, age 77, of Hot Springs, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016. She was born on August 14, 1939 in Kirby, the daughter of Payton A. Morphew and Maudie Whisenhunt Morphew. On September 20, 1957, she was married to Hollis Jester. She was preceded in death by her parents; and eight siblings, Glory June Morphew, Louise Everett, T. A. Morphew, Truitt Morphew, Payton Morphew, Jr., Leroy Morphew, Buddy Morphew and Roger Morphew. She was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Hollis Jester of Hot Springs; four children and their spouses, Penny and Vic Forga and Laurie and Jamie Huey, all of Glenwood, Jimmy and Angie Jester of Springdale and Ted Jester of Sherwood; four grandchildren, Andy Forga and his wife, Lindsey, of Benton, Holly Deaton and Jake Huey, both of Glenwood and Braxton Jester of Springdale; two great-granddaughters, Ava Deaton and Spencer Forga; five siblings, Virginia Kuhn of Mobile, Alabama, Robert Morphew of Kokomo, Indiana, Phyllis Alexander of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mike Morphew of Huntsville, Alabama and Joe Morphew of Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Pastor Robert Morphew officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Forga, Jake Huey, Braxton Jester, Kenny Olsen, Kerry Forga and Sam Mullins. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
