Todd Matthew Tidwell

Todd Matthew Tidwell, age 50, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020. He was born on April 12, 1969, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the son of George Grant Tidwell and Delois Ann Dumont Tidwell. He was preceded in death by his father, Grant Tidwell; his paternal grandparents, Buddy and Myrtis Tidwell; his maternal grandparents, JD and Paralee Dumont; and his aunt, Lanye Brown. He was a truck driver and for many years was the owner and operator of his own truck driving business. He loved horses, hanging out and visiting with his many friends, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his precious niece, Jillian, and his fur-baby, Coco, which he cherished and adored both, and would always make sure and find time to take them both for rides on his four-wheeler and tractor. He is survived by his mother, Ann Tidwell of Glenwood; his sister, Marla Tidwell Upshaw of Little Rock; his niece, Jillian Upshaw of Little Rock; his girlfriend, Jan Risner of Glenwood; his uncles and their spouses, Harley and Gail Tidwell of Glenwood, Bruce and Sharon Tidwell of Hot Springs Village, Ronnie and Manon Tidwell of Glenwood and Doug and Linda Dumont of Norman; his aunt, Wanda Golden of Newhope; his special fur-baby, Coco; and numerous extended family members and a host of wonderful, lifelong friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 19, 2020, in the Mount Tabor Community Church, Glenwood with Bro. Bruce Tidwell and Harley Tidwell officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the services, at the church. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be James Dean Cox, Monte Webb, Shawn Wright, Roger Simpson, Bryan Ford and Marion "Gomer" Reid. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Tigue, Danny Seals and Billy Tedder.
