Tommie Sue Neighbors

Tommie Sue Neighbors, age 85, of Amity, died Friday, October 10, 2014. She was born on July 16, 1929 at Amity, the daughter of Harold William Runyan and Winnie Helen Maxey Runyan. On August 13, 1947, she was married to Gerald Neighbors who preceded her in death on February 9, 2009. She was a Baptist in her faith. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tresa and David Dwiggins of Arkadelphia and Elizabeth and Denny Ashley of Conway; her sister, Betty Bean of Glenwood; and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the Jones Cemetery at Amity with Denny Ashley officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Daniel Ashley, David Ashley, David Dwiggins, Gene Dwiggins, Alex Baughn and Denny Ashley.
