Barbara A. Halcombe

Barbara A. Halcombe, age 64, of Glenwood, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019. She was born on January 9, 1955, in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Misty Dawn Halcombe; her grandson, Roper Lane Halcombe; and her sister, Mary Ann Hemund. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Halcombe of Amity; her mother, Opal House of Glenwood; two sons and one daughter-in-law, David Halcombe and Gena Green of Amity and Micah and Ashley Halcombe of Alpine; one daughter and son-in-law, Julianna and Paul Irving of Glenwood; nine grandchildren, Makinzie Irving, P.J. Irving, Tristen Halcombe, Haygen Halcombe, Cole Halcombe, Bryan Irving, Justin Irving, Kayla Moody and Shane Irving; five great-grandchildren, Kimber Haschke, Dylan Moody, Gwen Irving, Brazon Irving and Shelby Irving; one brother, Dennis Johnson of Glenwood; her mother-in-law, Frances McClurg of Glenwood; one nephew, Ronnie Wilson and his wife, Alicia; two nieces, Clara Sams and Wanda Tigue and her husband, Ted; four grand-nephews; five grand-nieces; her cousin, June Abernathy and her husband, Danny, of Royal; numerous other extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. The family will hold a memorial service at 4:30 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2019, in the Glenwood Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Hospice of Central Arkansas for their wonderful care they gave to Barbara.
