Barbara L. Brown, age 76, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. She was born on September 1, 1942, in Glens Falls, New York, the daughter of Bernard Ingalls Lockhart and Bertha May Manzer Lockhart. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a graduate of South Glens Falls High School in South Glens Falls, New York and worked many years as a PBX phone operator for Marriott Hotels. On September 5, 1987, she was married to the love of her life, Herman Brown. Barbara was a member of the Circle Cross Cowboy Church in Glenwood. She enjoyed baking and decorating some of the most beautiful wedding cakes. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, Herman Brown of Glenwood; her children, Sheri Williams and husband, Steven, Tyna Brown, Russell D. Brown and wife, Charlene; her grandchildren, Edward Cordero and wife, Ashley, Haley Williams, Christopher Williams, Stephen Blasko and wife, Carmina, Eric Blasko, Valerie Gossage and husband, Kevin, and Kevin Brown and wife, Jessie; and her great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Arya, Emma, William, Madisin, Marissa, Kinsley and Taylor. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in the Circle Cross Cowboy Church, Glenwood with Bro. Ricky Meeks and Bro. Bryan Adair officiating. Interment will be in the Nelson Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Edward Cordero, Russell Brown, Scott McGough, Russell McGough, Glenn Turner and Jeremy Graves. Honorary pallbearers will be David McGough, Ronnie Tidwell, Martin Hill and Lynn Epperson. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
