Betty J. Sorensen

Betty J. Sorensen, age 72, of Pearcy, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

She was born on May 24, 1948, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Robert W. Jones and Nina May Hall Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 34 years, Michael Sorensen, who passed away on April 8, 2012.

Betty was a Christian in her faith and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed her children and grandchildren very much. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Heidi Sieck and Richard and Celia Sieck; her daughter, Michelle Jones; twelve grandchildren and spouses, Dannielle and Devin Brizendine, Samantha Widler, Casey Jones, and Brianna Jones all of Hot Springs, Gabrielle and Gage Woodson of Enterprise, Alabama, Ayllia Garcia of Hot Springs, Tyler and Kathleen Sieck of Seattle, Washington, Alyssia Akin of Hot Springs, Brandi Schwartzkoff of Russellville, Dusteen Sieck, Nichole Sieck and McKinzie Sieck, of Hot Springs; her brother and sister-in-law, Kent and Wanda Jones of Denver, Colorado; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Anita Hoffmann and Dail and Mehsling Herrmann, all of Denver, Colorado; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, April 19, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. George Vincent officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Interment will be in the Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Sieck, Devin Brizendine, Braxton Koller, Rob Jacobs, Robert Sieck and Richard Sieck.
