Betty Turner Lowery

Betty Turner Lowery, age 81, of Glenwood, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

She was born on June 3, 1939, in Lodi, the daughter of Kelsie Turner and Ellen Parks Turner. She was preceded in death by her precious son, Gregory Don Lowery, as well as his father, Hobert Lowery; her parents; and her brothers, Carl “Tooter” Turner and Donald “Doodle” Turner.

She enjoyed crocheting, making dolls, working in her vegetable and flower gardens and loved playing with her little dog, Mackie.

She is survived by her grandson, Josh Lowery of Kirby; her great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace “Liv” Lowery of Kirby; her nephew, Lane Turner and his wife, Kathy, of Texas; her great-nephews, Caleb and Tyler Turner, both of Texas; the mother of her grandson, Tracy Lowery of Bonnerdale; her sister-in-law, Maxie Lowery of Louisiana; her caretaker and friend, Paula Wilder Abatte of Glenwood; and her fur baby, Mackie.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, in the Langley Hall Cemetery with Bro. Raymond Dees officiating.

Due to the COVID pandemic, there will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to S.P.O.T.S., PO Box 148, Caddo Gap, Arkansas 71935 or the Langley Hall Cemetery Association, 2667 Hwy 84W, Umpire, Arkansas 71971.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
