Birdene DeNatale

Birdene DeNatale, age 72, of Kirby, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021.

She was born on September 30, 1948, in New York City, the daughter of Joseph DeNatale and Bernice Babbitt DeNatale. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Debbie Czyzyk; and her brother, Victor DeNatale.

Birdene received her BSN from Henderson State University and was a registered nurse with St. Joseph Hospital for over twenty years. She enjoyed crocheting and loved her dogs.

She is survived by her son, R. T. Henson, III; her daughter and son-in-law, Natalie Henson and Stephen Tigue, all of Kirby; five grandchildren, Ashleigh Cantrell, Austin Cox, Zachary Henson, Payton Henson and Grace Cox; seven great-grandchildren, Paxton, Keaton, Maddox, Elias, Zylen, Chandler and Emmalyn; her sister, Janet DeNatale of Benton; two nieces, Michella Vise and Rena Robertson; and her nephew, Stashau Czyzyk.

The family will have a private memorial service.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
