Bobbie Owens

Bobbie Owens, age 77, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. She was born on December 13, 1942, in Delight, the daughter of Lige Emory Beard and Alice Corine Fleming Beard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, the father of her children, Thomas Gary Hare; and two sons, Gary Michael Hare and Anthony Wayne Hare. She enjoyed reading and listening to country music. Bobbie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and taking care of them. She is survived by her husband, David Owens of Murfreesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Barry Iglinsky; her grandson, Preston Taylor Iglinsky, all of Garland, Texas; three sisters, Patsy Barnes and Joyce May, both of Murfreesboro and Ruth Greenwalt of New Boston, Texas; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 13, 2020, in the Antoine Cemetery, near Delight, with Bro. Charlie Williams officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation.
