Caleb David Hawthorn

July 14, 2014 — February 16, 2021

Caleb David Hawthorn, age 6, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, February 16,2021. His loss was unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Caleb was born on July 14th, 2014, in Hot Springs, to Jonathan Wayne Hawthorn and Kaitlyn Beth McDaniel.

Caleb attended Cutter Morning Star Elementary and was passionate about life. He never met a stranger and was loved by all he crossed paths with. Caleb was so full of joy and light, the silliest boy you would ever meet, always making sure everyone knew how special they were and how much he loved them. Caleb’s family and friends will miss him more than words can ever say.

He is survived by his father, Jonathan Wayne Hawthorn of Hot Springs; his mother, Kaitlyn Beth McDaniel of Benton; his siblings, Isaac Thomas Sovulewski and Margaret Josephine Sovulewski, both of Benton; his paternal grandparents, Timothy Guy and Tonja Ann Hawthorn of Hot Springs; his paternal great-grandparents, Gilbert and Beverly Hawthorn of Manning; his maternal grandparents, John Justin and Ericka McDaniel of Vienna, Ohio and Kerri Lynn Nightengale (Dale Yates) of Benton; his maternal great-grandparents, Janet and David Gattis of Story; many aunts, uncles, friends and teachers at CMS Elementary.
