Carolyn McGrew Vik

Carolyn McGrew Vik, age 65, of Glenwood, passed away on September 12, 2020.

She was born on December 26, 1954 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Billy Ray McGrew and Betty Faye Grant McGrew. She was preceded in death by her father. On June 10, 1972, she was married to Earl Moore who preceded her in death on May 8, 1977. She was married to Aaron Douglas Vik on December 7, 1979.

Carolyn was a member of the Mount Tabor Holiness Church. She enjoyed making fudge and chocolate cake for her family. She also enjoyed taking care of her beautiful flowers and piecing quilts.

She is survived by her husband, Aaron Vik; four sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Bridgette Moore, Chad and Lacy Moore, Brad and Brandi Vik and Dustin and Katrina Vik, all of Glenwood; ten grandchildren, Raegan Moore, Allie Moore, Demi Moore, Jordynn Vik, Bradley Vik, Jadynn Vik, Paris Moore, Brentley Vik, Adilyn and Maxx Vik; her mother, Betty McGrew; her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Brenda McGrew, all of Glenwood; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 16, 2020, in the Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Guthrie, Bro. Olin Vaughn and Bro. Tommy Toliver officiating.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 100 persons at any one time at all indoor services, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering at all times when inside the funeral home and church.

Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be Jordynn Vik, Bradley Vik, Jadynn Vik, Brentley Vik, Steven McGrew and Brandon Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Maxx Vik, Brandon Cassity, Bradley Cottrell and Jackie Rowton.

Memorials my be made to Mount Tabor Holiness Church, PO Box 368, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.
