Charles Thomas "Tommy" Franklin, age 57, of Amity, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. He was born on February 26, 1954, at Anderson, Indiana, the son of Thomas Ray Franklin and Ida Mae Knighten Franklin. On September 23, 1986, he was married to Debbie Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a Christian by faith; enjoyed hunting and fishing; and dearly loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Franklin of Amity; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nicholas Lee and Julie Evans of Parks and Charles Adam and Kaylin Franklin of Pearcy; one daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Thomas Kerberskey of Glenwood; four grandchildren, Aaron Lee Evans, Thomas Dalton Kerberskey, Gunner Lyle Kerberskey and Austin Evans; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy Ray and Diane Franklin of Pacola, Oklahoma; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Linzy of Murfreesboro and Patricia Ann Tolbert of Greenwood; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2012, in the Jones Cemetery with Bro. Billy Thomason officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
