Clara Jane Grant

Clara Jane Grant, age 81, of Glenwood, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was born on October 16, 1934, in Black Springs, the daughter of Firch Amon Watson and Ava Etta Stafford Watson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ray Grant; her parents; one brother, Billy Watson; and one sister, Virginia White. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Glenwood. Clara Jane was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was truly loved, cherished and respected by her family. She will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her son, Glen Grant of Little Rock; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Davis Fitzhugh of Little Rock, Twyla and John Gray of Houston, Texas and Gena and Mark Wingfield of Little Rock; two granddaughters and their spouses, Natalie and Aaron Owens of Jonesboro, Katelind and Dr. Branson Bolden of Corinth, Mississippi; one grandson, Chase Wingfield of Little Rock; four great-grandchildren, Emerson and Allie Grace Owens and Caleb and Daniel Bolden, and one on the way, Ben Bolden; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 28, 2016, in the Glenwood Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at the funeral home prior to the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
