Clifford Eugene Cheney

Clifford Eugene Cheney, age 68, of Dierks, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019. He was born on December 25, 1950 in Little Rock, the son of Hershel Eugene Cheney and Ella Mae Watts Cheney. On July 7, 1972, he was married to Barbara Ann Nivens. He was a United States Army veteran of Vietnam and retired from Weyerhaeuser. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and Oak Hill Masonic Lodge #393. He enjoyed hunting and loved being with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Ann Cheney of Dierks; three children and their spouses, Sonya and Stan Sanders of Benton, Darrell Eugene Cheney of Dierks and Dianne and Marc Rosson of Gillham; seven grandchildren, Emily and Brianna Sanders, Khloe Lynn Cheney and Marcus, Lexy, Max and Molly Rosson; and his sister, Brenda Thompson of Horatio. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 22, 2019, in the Betty Myrie Nivens Cemetery near Blevins with Bro. Gary Welch officiating.
