Dave Lee CasaGrande

David "Dave" Lee CasaGrande, age 57, of Glenwood, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

He was born on November 6, 1963, in Oak Grove, Illinois, the son of Dewey Floyd CasaGrande and Joyce Elaine Voelkert CasaGrande. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Dale Thomas CasaGrande.

David was a Christian in his faith and was a trained machinist and automobile mechanic. When he was six years old, his family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, which he always called home. After living in Florida for several years, he moved to Arkansas five years ago. David loved his country and his family considered him an American patriot. He was kind, funny, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his son, Connor CasaGrande of Glenwood; his daughter and son-in-law, Katlyn CasaGrande and Andrew Eaken of South Daytona, Florida; his granddaughter, Elizabeth Eaken; his mother, Joyce Collins of Grove, Oklahoma; his stepmother, Sherry CasaGrande of Hot Springs; his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Donna CasaGrande of Bridgewater, New Jersey; the co-parent of his children, Kari Friberg-Nisbet of Phoenix, Arizona; his niece, Hanna Marie CasaGrande; and his nephews, Nathan CasaGrande and his wife, Amy, and Justin CasaGrande.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
