Deborah M. Blees

March 20, 1947 — November 25, 2021

Deborah M. Blees, age 74, of Hot Springs, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021.

She was born on March 20, 1947, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Marshall Burk Campbell and Bonnie Lorine Huggins Campbell. On September 23, 1982, she married David Earl Blees. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd Blees and Jo Blees.

Deborah was a Christian and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and Mani Pedi’s with “Tina and her girls” and pool parties at Stacey’s Oasis. She gained her love for travel while her husband served as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army. They continued their travels after his service ended with GWRRA and Spa City Good SAMS. At times the only reason they came home were to see their grandchildren and especially their great-grands!! Anyone who knew Deborah knew she loved her Fur Babies and her Grandchildren. They adored her as much as she adored them and they will miss their Grammy terribly!!!

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, David Blees of Hot Springs; three daughters, Tina Herron Nevels (Charles) of Mountain Pine, Stacey Herron (Darla) of Bonnerdale and Kristen Herron of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Henderson Ryan (Sarah), Matthew (Hannah), Trey, Maya, Callie Ann and Madison; two great-grandchildren, Presley and Julius; three fur babies, Romeo, Juliet and Ashley; extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A very special thank you to Deirkson Hospice, especially Edgwennia Blevins, her nurse and Marcia Rogers for the love and care they showed her over the weeks they cared for her. Their love and care for our mother, wife and Grammy did NOT go unnoticed. We are forever grateful to them.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Human Society of Garland County.
