Dennis Reid, age 60, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 14, 1959 in Glenwood, the son of George Franklin Reid and Mildred Marie McKinnon Reid. On February 13, 1982, he was married to Colleen Elizabeth Wright. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Reid; his father; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Colleen Reid; his mother, Mildred Reid; two sons, Jason (Janella) Reid and Dennis (Erin) Reid; two brothers, Edwin (Jackie) Reid and Marion Reid; five grandchildren, Gaven (Brooke) Reid, Talan Reid, Addison Reid, Jayslynn Reid and Jett Reid; his great-grandson, Maverick Wayne Reid; two brothers-in-law, Patrick (LeeAnn) Wright and Sean (Shanee) Wright; three sisters-in-law, Kelly Wright, Elizabeth (David) Grant; Kati (Jeff) Evans; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 17, 2020, in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Jack Herring and Bro. Gerald Palmer officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 100 persons, at any one time, attending indoor services. At all services, you must avoid all physical contact. Attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering which conceals the mouth and nose at all times.

Dennis will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery next to his beloved son, Michael.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be James Wright, Gaven Reid, Talan Reid, Chris Wright, Kaci Reid and Justin Reid.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Canals, Keith Bledsoe, Matthew Wright, Devyn Wright, Miles Reid, Dr. Stephen Divers, Genesis Cancer Center and Arkansas Hospice.
