Donna Demby

Donna Demby, age 79, of Mount Ida, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She was born on June 3, 1936, in Glenwood, the daughter of Bro. Earl Bardwell and Mattie Hubbert Bardwell. On October 21, 1955, she was married to Hugh Demby. She is survived by her husband, Hugh Demby of Mount Ida; two daughters, Margaret Demby of North Little Rock and Roberta Demby of Hot Springs; her brother, Gerald Bardwell of Huntingburg, Indiana; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2015, in the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Harold Turner and Bro. Keith Shewbart officiating. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Corbet Deary, Brett Bardwell, J Lee Bardwell, Cam Bardwell, Don Baker and George Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent-Hot Springs and Arkansas Hospice, 5th Floor, St. Vincent-Hot Springs.
