Donna J. Nuttle Vail, age 69, of Glenwood, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was born on April 14, 1948, at Ponca City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert T. Epperson and Alma Beebe Epperson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Christie Staten; her brother, Bobby Epperson; and her sister, Reta McDonald. Donna was a member of the Circle Cross Cowboy Church in Glenwood. She was employed by Beaird Poulan in Nashville for over 24 years. She enjoyed sewing and being with her family. She is survived by her husband, Rodger "Buck" Vail of Glenwood; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Milly Nuttle of Nashville and James and Cathy Newlin of Bismarck; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Junior Lingo of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren, Dustin Staten, Taylor Staten, Jerimiah Lingo and his wife, Carmen, Joshua Lingo, Brittney Cox and her husband, Hunter, Daniel Nuttle, Lovevannah Newlin, Galen Newlin and Dillon Hunt; five great-grandchildren, Abby Nuttle, Raelynn Nuttle, Tyler Staten, Bransyn Staten and Nykkan Staten; and one great-grandchild on the way, Bentley Kaden Cox; two sisters, Charlotte Wells of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Linda Campbell of Edmond, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Ricky Meeks officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Murfreesboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerimiah Lingo, Joshua Lingo, Dustin Staten, Taylor Staten, Dillon Hunt and Galen Newlin. Memorials may be made to the Circle Cross Cowboy Church, 1202 Hwy 70 East, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
