Dorothy Mae Hoefling Dueser

Dorothy Mae Hoefling Dueser, age 87, of Norman, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011. She was born on May 15, 1924, in Yorktown, Texas, the daughter of Charles Martin Hoefling and Emma Belle DuBose Hoefling. On December 26, 1944, she was married to Ernst Gerhardt Dueser who preceded her in death on August 4, 2008. She is survived by two daughters, Myrtle Farmer of Hearne, Texas and Diane Stovall of Norman; three grandchildren, Joseph Farmer and his wife, Beth, Tammisha Farmer and Shawna Stovall; three great-grandchildren, David Farmer, Matthew Farmer and Kathryn Farmer; her brother, Dalton Hoefling of Yorktown, Texas; her sister, Mattie Borgfeld of Yorktown, Texas; and a special friend, Jeremy Hamner of Norman. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in the Barr Memorial Presbyterian Church with Hartley Jones, CLP officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
