Edra Carolyn Flaherty

Edra Carolyn Flaherty, age 80, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was born on September 4, 1933 at Murfreesboro, the daughter of John Carl Flaherty and Benetta Edra Nichols Flaherty. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Brenda Kay Sethaler. A member of the Murfreesboro First United Methodist Church, she was a devout Christian and enjoyed reading her Bible. She worked several years as the librarian at the Murfreesboro Library. She loved taking care of her pets. She is survived by one nephew, one niece and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in the Murfreesboro Cemetery with Rob Evans officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
