Elda Diann Cockrell

Elda “Diann” Cockrell, age 69, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Diann was born on December 14, 1950, in Paducah, Texas, the daughter of Kenneth W. Adams and Mary Sue Gray Adams. On March 29, 1968, she married Curtis Cockrell. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents, Jerry and Ivy Gray.

Diann was a graduate from East Central College, Ada, Oklahoma and was a retired business teacher. She enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Cockrell of Hot Springs; her four daughters and sons-in-law, Contessa and Eric Scism of Haskell, Christy and Curtis Evans of Benton, Cathy and Kenny Dhane of Malvern and Cynthia and Jeremey Bell of Ardmore, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Ian Bell, T. C. Evans, Carter Dhane, Tyler Evans, Carson Dhane, Alicyn Bell, Carlee Dhane, and Charsy Scism; her three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Gerald Stegall of Antlers, Oklahoma, Melissa and James Caldwell of Greenville, Texas and Regina Boleyn of Earth, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, November 15, 2020, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Joel Lewis officiating.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00PM until 6:00PM. Social distancing directives will be in place-191-or less inside.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
