Elizabeth Bailey

Elizabeth Bailey, age 74, of Kirby, went to meet our Lord, Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born on July 14, 1937 at Murfreesboro, the daughter of Delbert Lane and Audie Lockwood Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Billy Joe Lane; her half-brother, Odell Lane; and three sisters, Joyce Maroon, Wanda Crow and Myrece Yeager. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and a very special caregiver to many. She was a member of the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, music, selling Avon and giving to others. She loved her family tremendously. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Bailey of Kirby; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Bessy Bailey, Michael and Renanda Bailey and Shane and Shelley Bailey; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and John Garrett, all of Kirby; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Katherine Lane of Murfreesboro and Merrel and Judy Lane of Decatur, Arkansas; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Dearl Stuart of Dierks; thirteen grandchildren, Alex, Diana, Clark, Amber, Aubrey, Andrea, Brian, Ashton, Dinah, Cory, Carlee, Carson and Shannon; seven great-grandchildren, Brady, Brach, Trayton, Juliana, Natalia, Gavyn and Audriana; and a host of family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Jewell officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Daisy Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Pike City Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Tony Crow, Bud Anderson, Darren Lane, Scott Bailey, Cody Crow, Aaron Crow, Boyd Cox and Floyd Cox. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
