Eva Nell Richardson

Eva Nell Richardson, age 82, of Amity, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014. She was born on December 5, 1931, in Fendley, the daughter of Oatsie Wilson and Hattie Roberts Wilson. On June 27, 1956, she was married to Ralph Richardson who preceded her in death on February 28, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmy Dean Wilson and A J Wilson. For over 52 years she was a devoted wife to Ralph. She attended Amity First Assembly of God Church, was well known for her wonderful cooking, enjoyed the outdoors, but her greatest love and joy was spending time with her family and friends. She was truly a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Neeka Richardson and Richard and Dodie Richardson, all of Alpine; one daughter and son-in-law, Jerita and Paul Roberts of Hobbs, New Mexico; thirteen grandchildren, Brian and Holly Richardson of Bonnerdale, Preston and Laiken Richardson, Rusty and Kaylee Richardson, Jaclyn and Jessie Farmer, all of Alpine, Lauren Richardson, Alex Roberts and Chase Griffin, Jesse Black and Stacy Roberts, all of Hobbs, New Mexico; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers and their spouses, Lincoln Wilson of Arkadelphia, Wilburn and Hilda Wilson of Bismarck, Frankie and Brenda Wilson of Glenwood and Landon and Trish Wilson of Amity; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 20, 2014, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Glen Harris officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Jones Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Mark Barkman, Jerry Buck, Gary Doster, Richard Eiland, Joey Varner and David Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Wilson, Joe Don Wilson, Scott Wilson, Steve Wilson and Tim Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jones Cemetery Fund, c/oDora Lee Bean, 316 N.
