Faye Marie Lynch

Faye Marie Lynch, age 74, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021.

She was born on December 13, 1946, in Hot Springs, the daughter of William Edward Coburn and Scottie Norssey Coburn. On December 11, 1964, she was married to the love of her life, Carol Lynch. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Ouida Taylor.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Faye’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, whom she loved with all her heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Carol “Buddy” Lynch of Hot Springs; four children and their spouses, Tanda Lynch of Hot Springs, Chris and Lea Ann Lynch of Pheba, Mississippi, George and Sherry Lynch of Royal and John and Shiela Lynch of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Grant and Maddie Lynch, William Lynch and his fiancé, Kara Burgess, Lauren Lynch and Jacob Lynch, Cora and Nick Pennington and Lakyn Overton-Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Blakely Lynch, Tristan Pennington, Serenity Pennington and Thorin Pennington; her brother, Charlie Coburn of Hot Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 25, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John McCallum officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, prior to the services.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Diane Bodemann and staff, Dr. Oyidie Igbokidi and staff, Dr. Muhammad Waqas, Dr. Thomas Wallace, Dr. Thurston Bauer, Jr., the Ruth Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs, and the nurses and staff of Arkansas Hospice.
