H. Jolene Ashley

H. Jolene Ashley, age 70, of Pearcy, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021.

She was born on May 2, 1951, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Junior Martin and Alice Weatherford Martin. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Bob Ashley and Bob Davis; her parents; one brother; and two sisters.

Jolene was a Christian in her faith and a member of Oma Community Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved her family very much. She had a great sense of humor. Jolene made a difference in many people’s lives and she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Harold Cates of Pearcy; her daughter, U. Jeanette Ries of Pearcy; three grandchildren, Jackie Abbitt and spouse, Timothy, of Springfield, Oregon, James Rice and spouse, Alex, of Roseberg, Oregon, and Rylee Cates of Pearcy; her brother and sister-in-law, Dudley and Tammy Martin of Pearcy; her sister, Marylyn Hobbs of Pearcy; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2021, in the Oma Community Church, 5065 Amity Road, Pearcy, AR 71964.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
