Harvey Benjamin McGough

Harvey Benjamin McGough, age 76, of Glenwood, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. He was born on December 11, 1938 at Langley, the son of Sherman David McGough and Etta Savannah York McGough. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Michael David McGough; and three sisters, Pauline McGough, Wanda Shirley and Marie Hayburn. Harvey was a Christian in his faith and worked many years for Bean Lumber Company in Amity and the Wharf Resort in Hot Springs. He is survived by his son, Harvey B. McGough, Jr. of Escondido, California; two daughters, Glenda Suggs of DeQueen and Patty Talley of Glenwood; his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Lee and Susan Kay McGough of Glenwood; one grandson; four granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 14, 2015 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date at the Langley Hall Cemetery. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
