Hughla Ramona Moore

Our beautiful mother, Hughla Ramona Moore, age 82, of Glenwood, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was born on January 19, 1930, in Caddo Gap, the daughter of Hugh Vaught and Marie Boone Vaught. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 55 years, O. J. "Jimmy" Moore. She was the perfect example of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were precious to her and she showed her love everyday of her life. She is survived by four children, a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Dianne Moore of Hot Springs; three daughters, Dianne Woodard and her husband, Rodney, of Glenwood, Susan Johnson and her husband, Lee Roy, of Hot Springs and Cheryl Moore of Glenwood, formerly of Hot Springs. Cheryl was mother's special caregiver. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Randy Moore, Cindy Mason, Andrea Douglas and Jalyn Moore, all of Hot Springs; her great-grandchildren, Jason Moore, Tony Mason, Collin Mason and Abigale Johnson, all of Hot Springs; her brother, Jerry Vaught of Murchison, Texas; her sister, Sarah Miles of Glenwood; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 6, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Rev. John Graham and Rev. Phillip Miller officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Caddo Gap. Pallbearers will be Joe W. Burke, Chris Hill, Jerry Lewis, Randy Moore, Tony Mason, Wayne Padgett and Rodney Woodard. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
