James Edwin Covington

James Edwin Covington, age 48, of Sims, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021.

He was born on March 6, 1973, in Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Edwin Covington.

He was Baptist in his faith. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and listening to music. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother and stepdad, Joyce and Jerry Robertson of Story; his twin brother, Gary Covington of Story; his sister and brother-in-law, Amie and Robert Collum of Big Fork; his stepbrother, Jerry Robertson of Jessieville; two stepsisters, Lisa Hays of Hot Springs and Michelle Silva of Marion; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 3, 2021, in the Black Springs Baptist Church.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
